📝 Ingredients (Serves 4)


For Chicken Masala:

Chicken (boneless, cut into pieces) – 500 g

Onion (finely chopped) – 1 large | 150 g

Tomato puree – 200 g

Garlic paste – 1 tbsp | 15 g

Ginger paste – 1 tbsp | 15 g

Yogurt – 3 tbsp | 45 g

Red chili powder – 1 tsp | 5 g

Turmeric powder – ½ tsp | 2 g

Garam masala – 1 tsp | 3 g

Coriander powder – 1 tsp | 3 g

Cumin powder – ½ tsp | 2 g

Salt – to taste

Oil – 3 tbsp | 45 ml

Fresh coriander (chopped) – for garnish


For Naan:

All-purpose flour (Maida) – 2 cups | 250 g

Yogurt – 3 tbsp | 45 g

Milk – ½ cup | 120 ml

Baking powder – ½ tsp | 2 g

Sugar – 1 tsp | 5 g

Salt – ½ tsp | 2 g

Oil – 1 tbsp | 15 ml


👩‍🍳 Method


Chicken Masala:

Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions until golden brown.

Add garlic & ginger paste, cook 1–2 minutes.

Add tomato puree, cook until oil separates.

Mix in red chili, turmeric, cumin, coriander powders, and salt.

Add chicken, coat with masala, cook 5 minutes.

Stir in yogurt, cover, simmer 15–20 minutes until chicken is tender.

Sprinkle garam masala & garnish with fresh coriander.


Naan:

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add yogurt & milk, knead into soft dough.

Cover, let it rest 30 minutes.

Divide dough, roll into oval shapes.

Cook on hot pan/tawa, brush with oil or butter, cook until golden spots appear.


Serve hot chicken masala with freshly cooked naan. Enjoy! 😋
