🌶️ Schezwan Chicken

Ingredients:

• Chicken (boneless cubes) – 500 g

• Cornflour – 3 tbsp

• All-purpose flour – 2 tbsp

• Egg – 1

• Salt – 1 tsp

• Black pepper – ½ tsp

• Oil – for frying


Schezwan Sauce

• Schezwan chutney – 3 tbsp

• Garlic (chopped) – 1 tbsp

• Ginger (chopped) – 1 tsp

• Soy sauce – 1 tbsp

• Vinegar – 1 tbsp

• Sugar – ½ tsp

• Water – ½ cup (120 ml)

• Spring onions – 2 tbsp


Instructions:

1. Coat chicken with egg, cornflour, flour, salt, and pepper.

2. Fry chicken till crispy and set aside.

3. Heat oil in a wok, add garlic and ginger. Sauté lightly.

4. Add schezwan chutney, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and water.

5. Cook sauce for 2 minutes until slightly thick.

6. Add fried chicken and toss on high heat.

7. Finish with spring onions and serve hot.
