🐟 Sticky Garlic Butter Sweet Chili Cod
Tender cod fillets seared in garlic butter and finished in a sticky sweet chili & lime glaze 🤤
🛒 Ingredients
4 cod fillets (skinless, patted dry)
Salt & black pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves (minced)
⅓ cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime
1 tsp lime zest
½ tsp chili flakes (optional heat)
1 tsp honey (optional extra sticky)
Fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
Season cod
Lightly season fillets with salt & pepper.
Sear in garlic butter
Heat olive oil + butter in pan over medium-high.
Add cod and sear 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
Make glaze
In same pan, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
Stir in sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, zest, chili flakes, and honey. Simmer until sticky (1–2 min).
Finish cod
Return cod to pan, spoon glaze over fish, and cook 1 more minute until coated and glossy.
Serve
Garnish with herbs and extra lime. Serve over rice or with veggies.
